By using TheLearningLoop you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

TheLearningLoop offers free interactive lessons on software and IT topics. Lessons are free and supported by advertising. We may add, change or remove lessons and features at any time, and we do not promise the site will always be available or error-free.

Learning material, not guarantees

We work to keep lessons accurate, but they are for education only. We do not guarantee that they are complete or current, or that using them will get you a job or pass an interview. Check important details against official sources.

Your account

An account is optional and only needed to save progress. Give us a real email address, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or try to gain unauthorised access to the site, other accounts or our systems;
  • scan, overload or disrupt the site, or bypass rate limits or other protections;
  • scrape or copy the lessons in bulk, or resell or republish them as your own;
  • upload malicious code or abuse the sign-up and email features.

We may limit or close accounts that break these rules.

Our content

The lessons, simulations, text, design and code of TheLearningLoop belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own learning, and you may link to any page. Anything beyond that, including copying or redistributing the material, needs our written permission.

Advertising and third parties

The site may show ads and link to other sites. We do not control third-party sites or ads and are not responsible for them.

Liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or opportunity, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

Closing your account

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing us. How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
